Les deux mas de maisons sont selon toute vraisemblance d&#039;origine médiévale, comme en témoignent le type d&#039;implantation (bâtiments serrés les uns aux autres et disposés irrégulièrement des deux côtés d&#039;une étroite ruelle) et certaines caractéristiques stylistiques conservées (portes et fenêtres à accolades, contrefort). Ces édifices ruraux ont subi de multiples interventions et reconstructions, aux XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles probablement, et tout dernièrement au début des années 1970 : ils ont alors été rénovés et transformés pour abriter la mairie, une poste et des habitations.
