Il s&#039;agit d&#039;un témoignage qui est important pour l&#039;histoire de l&#039;industrie comme pour l&#039;histoire locale : le hameau de Troinex s&#039;est en effet développé grâce à l&#039;activité des moulins au bord de la Drize. La meule concernée se rattache à un moulin, connu dès le moyen âge, qui fut reconstruit au XVIIe et au XVIIIe siècle : d&#039;une dimension de 2,35 mètres de diamètre, elle pourrait dater de cette époque. Autrefois déposée dans le bâtiment, elle a été installée à la vue de tout un chacun dans le jardin vers 1964 afin d&#039;être visible du grand public.&lt;/ins&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/td&gt;&lt;/tr&gt;
