De plan rectangulaire, la maison s’élève sur deux étages sur un rez-de-chaussée légèrement excavé côté nord, mais sur un seul étage côté sud. L’édifice est surmonté d’une toiture à deux pans revêtus de tuiles plates. La façade nord, côté cour, est percée d’une porte de cave en plein-cintre avec encadrement en molasse appareillée, légèrement en dessous du niveau du sol, et d’une petite baie d’aération également chanfreinée; un escalier extérieur perpendiculaire à la façade, adossé au mur mitoyen oriental et couvert d’un auvent, mène au 1er étage, où se trouve une porte avec encadrement en calcaire à linteau à accolade et vantail en bois à plis de serviette datant probablement du XIXe siècle, identique à celle qui se trouve à la rue du Midi 19 (remploi, selon Bory 1975); à ce même étage, une fenêtre rectangulaire présente un encadrement chanfreiné mêlant linteau en calcaire (?), molasse appareillée avec tablette moulurée (remploi + blocs retaillés?); le 2e étage est percé d’une petite ouverture chanfreinée à gauche, et à droite, d’une grande fenêtre à croisée en calcaire avec linteau orné de deux arcs en accolade à double gorge, qui témoigne de l’agrandissement de la maison au XVe-XVIe siècle (Bujard 1997); le haut de cette fenêtre était bouché en 1912 (Pisteur 1912). Plusieurs encadrements des ouvertures de cette façade semblent avoir été remaniés (pierres changées, arêtes retaillées), peut-être lors d’une restauration en 1930 (Baertschi &amp;amp; Jiranek 1985).
